We are celebrating our ONE year anniversary this month. Honestly we didn't quite keep track of the actual day we went live, as it was kind of a process over a few days time. But we paid our first invoice to be on the air with licensing on Feb 5th, 2013, so we consider that our "birth date" and February as our "birth month"
To celebrate this month we have had Sixer Six and Martha Christian in the studio for live interviews. We have had special "Throwback Thursday" shows featuring the 80's, the 70's and this week the 90's. We will finish off the month with a Throwback Thursday show of SOLID ROCK RECORDS music. (Larry, Randy, DA, Mark Heard, and more). We also have Red Letter Disciple scheduled for an interview this Saturday. We have two shows coming up as of right now, Brady Toops on March 15th, and Capital Kings on April 12th. See our events page for more info. We're just so thankful to be able to still be doing this a year later. We are self and listener funded, so we weren't quite sure how long we'd make it, but so far so good, God has blessed, and we just keep rawkin. So many thanks to all the bands and artists and record labels that have sent us music. It is sooo awesome, when you all reach out to us to play your music, for that is the very reason that we started this endeavor, to share the music with the listener. You can have a car and a driver, but with no road your not going anywhere, we just want to be one of the roads that gets the music to you. We are planning a birthday CD with some of our favorite "indie" cuts, so stay tuned for that. Happy Birthday to us, A big THANK YOU to all of you that listen, from all over the world we might add. And as our slogan has become, keep on RAWKIN 4the ROCK! Righteous Rock Radio with Grounds4Change is proud to present the movie - Ragamuffin: The True Story Of Rich Mullins. This is a MUST see movie for any Christian musicians, worship leaders, youth, or people that look at the Christian walk a bit differently. Rich truly knew what it meant to be a Ragamuffin, and how that it relates to our daily walk with God. If you are anywhere near Kodak TN (like an hour or so) we challenge you to come see this movie. We make no money off of this, all ticket sales go back to the film creators to cover their costs. Please come and join us this Friday night at 7pm at Grounds4Change at the Crossing. 2941 Douglas Dam Rd / Kodak / TN/ www.grounds4change.net

Chaotic Resemblance RAWKS it 80's style, but make no mistake this is not a tribute band or a cover band, their music is their own, fresh, new, and exciting. Met many cool people at Jam4 The Lamb last Saturday. I truly appreciate Derek allowing us to get on stage and talk a little bit about 3R Radio, give away some tickets and some t-shirts. That was way cool. We'd like to welcome our new followers on Twitter, and the likes on Facebook. Please share us with your friends as we try to offer the best mix of Christian music old, new, and indie. If you haven't seen our new t-shirts, we encourage you to visit our Ebay store and check them out. All proceeds go to keeping us on the air, and putting on more shows. Your support is MORE THAN APPRECIATED. We are lining up some more on air interviews, in the near future stay tuned for on air interviews with Fred "Wonder Dog" Rose, the boys from Eden's Way, DJ Grand Mill, and hopefully The Shine Effect. We will keep you posted on those shows and when they will air. Weve got some exciting shows coming up too that we are proud to be part of. Next Friday IGNITE with Sean Blockely, Michaela Hatfield, and Silencing Stones. In November we welcome 7eventh Time Down with The Shine Effect and Eden's Way, plus we just added two shows in 2014 with Down South Disciples, and classic rockers King James. Stay tuned for details. We serve humbly, we push forward aggressively, we work earnestly, we love sincerely, and sometimes we fail miserably, but we do it all for the love of RAWKIN for the ROCK. Preacher Ray Slater (Hardcore Disciples Biker Church) will be stopping by the Righteous Rock Radio studio for a live on the air interview. Asking the majority of the questions will be Fred Rose, who handled similar duties when the band Bone Prophet was on the air. 3R Radio is offering a couple of tickets to the Disciple concert that they are currently promoting to try to attract more listeners.
You can catch this interview live as it happens by tuning in to Righteous Rock Radio on Friday August 23, at 6pm eastern time. Social media interaction will be encouraged. Tune in link: www.3r-radio.com Visit Ray Slater on Facebook. Righteous Rock Radio welcomes members of the band BONE PROPHET, live on the air Tuesday night August 13 @ 7pm eastern time.
